On-Premises Version
2026-10-21 V2.0.1
V2.0.1 introduces the built-in Plugin Framework for DJI FlightHub 2. It is currently available in beta in China, with availability expanding to other regions in future releases.
2026-10-14 V2.0
I. On-Premises Version Feature Optimizations
1. New Device Support
- DJI FlightHub 2 now supports DJI Dock 4.
Usage limitation: DJI Dock 4 currently supports HTTPS only. Enable the HTTPS option in the admin console. For details, see the Switching HTTP and HTTPS chapter in the On-Premises deployment manual.
2. Cluster Architecture Support
Starting with V2.0, a cluster architecture provides high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery backups to support larger-scale, more reliable, and more secure flight operations. Visual operations, fewer deployment environment dependencies, and improved deployment success rates also reduce deployment and maintenance costs.
Deploy DJI FlightHub 2 on a single node initially and add nodes as your business needs grow. When the number of nodes is ≥ 3, the cluster provides the following features:
- High availability: automatic failover when a node fails keeps core services running.
- Load balancing: tasks are allocated based on node resources to prevent individual machines from being overloaded.
- Disaster recovery backups: multiple backup replicas reduce data loss and downtime.
Key Additions to the Admin Console
- Node expansion: add nodes online without interrupting services. Supports progress monitoring, retries after failures, rollback of reversible stages, and process log export.
- Requirement: the license certificate must allow a maximum device count of at least 20.
- Cluster maintenance: centrally view cluster health, topology, and alerts in the cluster overview, along with node hardware information and CPU, memory, storage, and network load.
- Value-added services: deploy and manage services such as 4G and Terra with one click, view deployment progress and health status, and export process logs.
- License management: designate a node within the cluster or a remote node for centralized license management.
- Usage limitation: each cluster supports only one license node, and all licenses must be installed on that node.
Key Compatibility Changes
- License installation: DJI FlightHub 2, 4G, and Terra licenses must be installed on the same license node. If your licenses are installed on separate machines, contact after-sales support to migrate them before upgrading to V2.0.
- Upgrade restrictions: earlier versions cannot be upgraded to V2.0 using visual tools, legacy command-line tools, or similar methods. Follow the On-Premises deployment manual carefully.
- Data backups: backup commands and procedures have changed. Follow the On-Premises deployment manual carefully.
- Routine maintenance: maintenance commands have been replaced, DJI FlightHub 2 service log export has changed, and the port list has been updated. Read the On-Premises deployment manual carefully.
- Feature adjustments: remote maintenance, login screen customization, and alert rule modification are temporarily unavailable.
3. Livestream Engine Redesign
- A new in-house livestream media engine redesigns the underlying livestream experience, increasing single-machine concurrent livestream capacity by 2.8 times while further reducing CPU usage.
- Improved GB-28181 and RTMP protocol compatibility makes integration with common video surveillance platforms such as Hikvision easier.
- Supports dynamic scaling to eliminate software throughput bottlenecks. Concurrent capacity depends on network interface bandwidth.
4. Maintenance Experience Optimizations
- Smaller installation package: the package size has been reduced to within 50 GB.
- Improved license tolerance: the existing license remains valid when replacing the hard drive or network interface, or reinstalling the operating system on the same machine. No license reissuance is required, reducing service interruptions caused by routine maintenance.
- Improved expiration notifications: upgrade license expiration and trial license expiration are distinguished, with more accurate descriptions of their impact. Device limit alerts are less frequent to reduce repeated reminders.
5. MQTT Bridge API Authentication Support
Local MQTT registration, modification, and other operations require x-user-token for API authentication to prevent unauthorized users from changing MQTT configurations. You can enable authentication on the "DJI FlightHub 2 - Organization Settings - FlightHub Sync - MQTT" page.
6. O4 Ground Station Device Count Optimization
When the O4 Ground Station is in "Gateway Mode - Roaming Base Station Mode", it no longer counts toward the licensed number of online devices.
Special note: The release of the all-in-one machine has been postponed until next week.
II. Public Cloud Feature Alignment (aligned to 2026-09-01)
1. Smart Search Supports Count Statistics and Conditional Alerts

- Temporary Solution: Remotely restart the corresponding device via DJI FlightHub 2 to restore it. This issue will be fixed in a future firmware version.
2、V1.7 Incremental Upgrade Package Released
This version provides an incremental installation package that supports quickly upgrading an existing environment from V1.6 to V1.7 via incremental upgrade. Compared with a full upgrade, an incremental upgrade only needs to update the necessary services that have changed, significantly reducing upgrade time and downtime.
- Incremental upgrades only support upgrading between adjacent versions (e.g., 1.6.n > 1.7.n). Upgrading across multiple versions can only use a "full upgrade".
- The average incremental upgrade takes about 20 minutes.

- The virtual cockpit supports real-time AI recognition and automatic alerts when people, vehicles, or boats are detected, and allows instant viewing of alert record details triggered during flight route tasks (supported by Matrice 4 and DJI Dock 3).
- Third-party algorithm models developed on the DJI Intelligent Computing platform can be imported to and applied in Pilot 2, expanding AI recognition scenarios.
- The media file library supports the display, counting, and editing of AI recognition results. Currently only wide-angle and zoom photos are supported.
AI Flight Route (Supported by DJI Dock 3)
- Waypoint routes support intelligent recognition actions, capable of recognizing people, vehicles, boats, or subjects with abnormal high and low-temperature during the flight, and performing actions such as taking photos, recording videos, and waiting for the operator to take over after alerts.
- The task plan library now supports AI route warning notification, allowing the configuration of alert receiving methods and frequency after subject recognition.
Smart Track
- The virtual cockpit supports Smart Track, allowing continuous tracking of AI-recognized subjects (supported by DJI Dock 3).
Dock Function Optimization
Flight Operation Capability Enhancement
